15) Coursework Double page image’s Dissucion

In this image the positioning of the people is that they are turned inwards close on themselves with there heads turned looking at the camera. Therefore makes the audience look straight directly to the two individuals & makes them stand out to the audience. The emotions on there faces is very serious but therefore showing attitude, a feeling of you shouldn’t mess with them. The shot type of the shoot is Medium close up, therefore only picking out the costumes & faces. The colours that stand out is the Pink & red. The pink & red of the tops, but in Stef’s top some is hidden by Stef’s Black blazer therefore making contrast. Also the red lipstick & pink eye shadow also give the impression of attitude & rebellion showing a confidence in there fashion sense. The background is very dark & the scene I have took the photo shoot, is in a dark street giving a tone to the photos that theses two models have literally come of the streets, they have had the ruff life therefore reflects on there bad attitude. The Background is dark therefore makes the two models stand out. The costumes have a sense of showing there personality’s one of a cheeky, sexy sasy lady (influenced by the colour pink,) & the other a strong wild minded rock style costume also showing sexiness. Both showing extreme confidence in there outfits & therefore reflects on there personalities of bad attitude. The props that we used was head phones on Liz showing interest & love of music & long jewellery on Stef showing interest in fashion. Also due to that most gender that listens to rock music is male there sexiness can draw them in, whist with the girls who want to rebel against the world these two can be seen as role models. The gestures in the hands is that stef is touching liz’s face therefore showing affection towards liz, could almost be seen as protection.

Interviewer - Andy Stevenage
It is known that the Rock girl duo, Bad attitude did have an attitude but we didn’t realize how much. As from their fall out from their first album, the duo has made a reappearance and become even better! Yes the average girlish squabble goes on in this group like who had the straighteners last, where’s the make up bag. But this duo take it to a whole new level of , “where’s my f***in £25,000 waist belt? And have you seen the mega audio system, I think someone nicked it from the gig last night.” As I interrupted the girls nearly going head over heel in a fight, to my very surprise when I mentioned I was there for an interview they seemed very happy to do it.
Andy Stevenage - So girls apart from the squabble outside, how is the friendship going between you two?
Kate – Stronger than ever,
Patricia – We love each other really; it’s just our common normal day to day fights.
Kate – We just get underneath each others feet a lot, that’s all. You know if girls spend to much time together, its gets stressful.
Patricia – I hope it’s not too stressful? (Cheeky grin), its not that bad. We’re just like sisters, you fight but you love em to bits. How would you feel if you was living with two females constantly?
Interviewer - Fairly good actually.
Kate – I’m sure you would!
Andy Stevenage - It must feel fantastic, living the fame life, pretty satisfying I would say.
Patricia - You bet, we’ve been so busy, interviews, photo shoots, upcoming music videos, we’re mostly touring every night.
Kate – But get this, whilst doing all this, we’re coming up with songs for our new album which takes up lots of time, not enough time in the day.
Patricia – But all the stuff we can buy. Do you remember the shopping on the Japan trip, remember the…
Kate – Let me stop you in your tracks (looking at Patricia), trust me you get Patricia started on shopping you will be stuck here for months.
There have been many headlines about this group in the recent newspapers e.g. The News of the World ‘Girl duo suicide.’ So With the duo being in the best of moods, to my surprise, I ask a more serious question.
Andy Stevenage - Is it true what the newspapers say?
Kate - Can I get one thing straight in this interview, I did not hang myself off a side of a 25 foot building or get myself killed. As you’ve seen cos I’m speaking to you right now. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been in bad places theses last few years but I have never had any intentions like what they said.
Patricia – And I would personally like to tell those F***ers that if they dare write any other false articles about me or Kate be prepared to have my fist down their throat.
Cos they have really got my back up this time.
Kate – Hay don’t scar-the interviewer, he’s nice.
Andy Stevenage - Thanks, but I was scared for a moment there.
Moving onto a slightly lighter topic their new releases of their new album is out on the 22 November I am who I am.
(seen on top right.)
Andy Stevenage - Exited about the album release then?
Patricia – Year
Kate – Yer of course, music is our world for now on. But in a way if we do B***ocks this album up, there will always be the next one.
Patricia – But I would just like to go back to your first point & just say a huge thank you to all our fans. And to be honest we failed with our first album, but with our second album came to fame. I think both Kate & I agree that because of our failure it makes this album that much more special to us.
So hearing the girls having a smooth heart to heart with me, the most attitude girl group has ever seen, I think what has happened here? Have they had a personality transplant or something? Known for their drunken rebellions, outrageous lyrics, & out of this world graphical music videos, which may not be shown to the public, are the girls showing another side to their multi dimensional personality?
Andy Stevenage - What is your favourite track on the album?
Patricia – That’s a hard one, I love all of em cos we made it, can’t say really, all brilliant.
Kate - I have to say ‘Cheats & Lies’ because this song has meaning to me, a dedication to an x of mine.
Patricia - An X of both of ours actually.
Kate – Ahh forgot about that, I think because of him & all the mental torture he put both of us through, that is how we’ve got our attitudes today. All down to that ‘B***ard.
Patricia – Basically down to him & the press in the last few years that’s what’s been killing Kate. But to be fair the song shows that we’ve both made it through the other side & still we can smile from time to time.
Kate - Then from any other time go out & get drunk.
Andy Stevenage - What about your influences, from a teenager, there must be someone who inspired you?
Patricia - O there is, Blondie’s the favourite, I’d always listen to her when I was a kid, then most of the other time was what songs were playing when I was drinking up Vodka shots. But mainly the other bands that helped us make our music were the bands that had been recently caught in the spot light. The Killers, Evanescence, Stereophonics, Guns & Roses that sort of thing.
Kate – But how could you every forget Queen? But to be honest the main influence of ours was actually girl bands, but we wanted to make our image not the usual crowd. So making us the girl band that no one would think, ow they’re the plastics again. I mean who wants to be all the same anyhow, & a stereotypical band. You’re then just basically copying another band from the past century.
So have Bad attitude really gone soft or was it just a good day for them? The music; still ambiguous, the attitudes, still got it, & the videos, don’t let me go there. Well there seems to be a history or other personalities revealing at the scenes. Will they unravel more of their other softening sides or any other hidden personalities? I will leave you with this thought.
