7) Coursework Magazine Names

Rhythm
The genre for this magazine would most likely be a mixture of music, and magazine that covers the whole genes of music. I think this would work fairly well as a title because it can open a lot of options for the magazine (contents) & doesn’t have to be joint to a pacific type of music. Also straight away the title tells you that this magazine is to do with music but the title is not catchy so might imply this magazine is for an older audience.

Crazy Note
The genre for this magazine would be pop, for a young teenager girl. This title I think would work fairly well because it’s different & makes you think what is that magazine about. Although the title is not as clear of saying that this magazine is to do with music, ‘note’ could be taken as English literacy. So I think if I did have this title I would have to make sure that the images of the front cover tell the audience that this is an music magazine.

Rock On
The genre for this magazine would be rock, for a teenager or maybe an older generation. I think that the title works well because it tells the reader straight away what this music magazine is about, it also tells the reader that this magazine has attitude. The only thing that I could say about this title is that it is commonly used so at first many people may take this magazine to be a senior unprofessional magazine & may ignore the magazine. But once reputation is gained it wouldn’t be a problem.

Music Shift
The genre for this magazine would be new music, for people who are interested In new incoming music, so a young 18-25 age range. I think that this title would work well because it tells the reader straight away what the magazine is about & also using ‘Shift’ it gives a tone of change or something new. I would say that the name is not too catchy although the implications of something new could make the magazine more attracted to the audience’s eyes.

AmR or AMP's
My final name choice for my magazine is AmR or AMP's, which stands for Amplify the music of Rock. The reason why I choose this name was because it relates to rock music of that AMP's are used in rock music. Therefore tells the audience that this is a rock based magazine. Also it is short & catchy which therefore will stand out to the audience.
